About me
Originally from North Carolina, USA, I am a Swedish-American visual artist, musician, and biologist. As a biologist, I research topics within animal cognition and ecology, constantly seeking to better understand the many ways in which other animals consider and interact with their environments. I have always been fascinated by the natural world, especially the aspects of it we as humans cannot fully understand or perceive. Though I am a scientist, I have always seen a lot of magic in nature, and this curiosity and awe is what has inspired much of my art. Art has been a way for me to express what I cannot express in scientific texts, and I aim to share some of my fascination and feelings of magic about the natural world through my art.
